1. UniquePerioSignature™ Panel
UniquePerioSignature™ is a saliva-based molecular testing panel designed to detect and quantify selected periodontal-associated bacterial targets using quantitative PCR (qPCR) technology.
The test provides laboratory information that may assist you and your healthcare or dental provider in understanding your periodontal pathogen profile.
Test results should be interpreted together with your medical and dental history, symptoms, clinical examination, periodontal measurements, and other relevant information.
UniquePerioSignature™ results are not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed dentist, physician, or other qualified healthcare professional.
Do not delay or discontinue professional medical or dental care based solely on information provided through the test or our website.
2. Sample Collection and Testing
Customers are responsible for following the saliva collection, kit registration, packaging, and return-shipping instructions provided with the test kit.
Failure to follow collection or shipping instructions may result in an insufficient, compromised, delayed, or otherwise unsuitable specimen.
In certain circumstances, recollection may be necessary.
Laboratory turnaround times provided on our website or marketing materials are estimates and are not guaranteed. Processing may be affected by shipping delays, specimen quality, laboratory operations, holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
